My dad bought this for me in 2004 after I spent my first summer in Europe and fell in love with cycling. I rode this bike in Houston, San Diego, Geneva and Boston (I think that's the bike I'm on in the photo). It went on many adventures, including all the way around Lac Leman and to Dordogne when my buddy Drew and I did a multi-day bikepacking trip.
I bought this in 2014 in Boston when the maintenance of biking through the winter was proving to be time consuming and costly. It was my daily driver for 13 years in three different cities, Boston, Budapest and Zurich. I loved this bike. It broke in 2025 while I was pushing it hard up a hill. The frame cracked.
My first road bike. I didn't know a bike could feel like an extension of you before I bought this bike. I took this bike on a two day trip from Zurich to Thun and ride it many weekends around Zurich.
My son wanted to ride at the skate park, so I thought I'd join him.
A complementary bike to the road bike above, I like to use this one to exercise, frequently using it to bike up the Uetliberg.
A replacement for the Jamis Sputnik, I bought this bike in 2025 after the frame broke. As of writing, early indications are that it doesn't stack up ... but we'll see!
